Community Safety

The Be Safe Partnership is made up of representatives from a number of different organisations all working together to reduce crime, disorder and drugs misuse in Bolton.

The primary members are:

Be Safe works across four key themes:

Reducing Re-Offending
Reassuring and Supporting Communities
Young Peope
Drugs and Alcohol  

We aim to:  

Reduce: House Burglary; Vehicle Crime; Robbery; Violent Crime; Domestic Violence; Use of Class A Drugs.

Target: Offenders who commit the most crime

Reassure and Support Communities by reducing: Anti-Social Behaviour; Juvenile Nuisance; Criminal Damage; Hate Incidents (incidents motivated by hatred of ethnicity, religion, sexuality, gender etc); Environmental crime issues (eg graffiti, littering, fly-tipping etc).
